This outfit is inspired by CHANEL’s pre-fall collection 15/16 “Paris In Rome”. The story behind this collection is inspired by the Cinecittà studios in Rome, one of Europe’s biggest cinema complex founded in 1973. It is a beautiful and dark collection featuring tweed, lace, chiffon, and embroideries. It’s one of my favorite from the CHANEL runway.

The piece that tied it together is the panel lace tights that was worn by Kristen Stewart in the campaign. It so pretty in my opinion and it took me while before I could find something very similar (Asos). The second item that makes this look “Paris In Rome” is a long tweed jacket layered on top of a dress. The jacket and dress worn above were bought from Zara earlier this year (currently sold out online, but I have a few similar below).
No doubt the shoes from this collection was stand out among style influencers this year, such as Song of Style and Haute Pursuit. I think they will become a timeless piece that will be worn for a long time.
